Flexible Online Learning addresses many of the frustrations and limitations with the diverse range of eLearning options available. These limitations include:

• difficulty reading and learning from the screen
• inability to make notes and highlight points of interest on screen
• ability to take tests/exam numerous times until achieving a pass mark
• lack of tangible documentation at end of course

PharmaSchool Flexible Online Learning addresses these issues by basing each module around 2 key elements. The Learning Management Centre and the Course Manual.

Once you have signed up and paid you will receive a course manual and a username/password for the LMC. You work through the manual at your own speed. Each module takes around 15 hours to complete and this is broken into chapters that take around 2 hours to complete. The manual will provide the course notes.

Use of Learning Management Centre
At specific places the manual will ask you to use the online LMC to visit specific websites which are linked from the LMC and to take online self assessments to check your learning.

Examination
When you have completed the manual you will then be directed to take an online multiple choice examination in the LMC. The examination can only be viewed and taken once which ensures the integrity of the course. Additional attempts to view the examination are not possible because you will be locked out of the examination.

Certificate of Completion
Once you have successfully completed the examination (requiring a mark of 50% or above) you will receive a Certificate of Module Completion from PharmaSchool. This certificate will be in hard copy mailed from PharmaSchool.
